At Whisper Beds, we aim to make the delivery process as clear and straightforward as possible. Below is an overview of how delivery works once your order is placed.

Delivery

This page explains how delivery works for all products ordered via our website. By placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read and understood the information below.

How we deliver

We deliver using trusted third-party couriers, including but not limited to Panther Logistics, XDP, and our own vehicles.

  • Handling time: Handling time is 1 working day (Monday - Friday).

  • Standard delivery time: Delivery is standard 11 working days. In most cases your order will be delivered within this time frame from the date of your order.

  • Delivery window: Deliveries are carried out between 8 am and 8 pm, Monday to Sunday.

  • Order cut-off time: The cut-off time for orders is 1 pm. Orders placed after 1 pm will be processed on the next working day.

For reasons outside of our control, we cannot always provide exact delivery times. This can be due to factors such as driver breakdowns, bad weather conditions, traffic or other unforeseen events.

Delivery area and cost

  • Free delivery is available to the UK mainland only.

  • We unfortunately do not ship to Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland.

Where we deliver to

Unless specified otherwise, delivery is to the doorstep only.

  • If you live in a house, this means to your main entrance.

  • If you live in a block of flats or an apartment, this means to your flat or apartment door.

Where room of choice delivery is selected at checkout, the driver will deliver the goods to your chosen room. You must ensure there is enough space for the driver to move the items safely and that floors, freshly painted walls and furniture are protected or moved out of the way. We do not accept liability for any damage caused while the couriers are inside your home.

Where assembly is selected, the courier will assemble the bed in the room of choice as long as it is safe to do so and access is suitable.

Communication and delivery date

  • When you place your order, you will receive a delivery date by email once the courier has scheduled your delivery.

  • If, for any reason, we are unable to deliver as planned, we will always contact you via email to update you.

Inspecting your goods

All goods must be inspected before the courier leaves your property.

  • If you notice any damage, this must be reported to us by email within 24 hours of delivery.

  • We will require photographic proof of any damage so that we can investigate and resolve the issue.

Address accuracy and changes

You must ensure that your delivery address is correct at the time of ordering.

  • Any address changes requested at a later date may incur an additional charge, depending on the stage of the delivery process.

Missed deliveries and redelivery

If you are not at home on the agreed day of delivery and the courier attempts delivery, a redelivery charge of £70 will apply.

  • If your item has not yet left our warehouse, this fee may be waived and an alternative delivery slot may be offered at our discretion.

Custom-size headboards

Where custom-sized (taller) headboards are ordered with beds, it is your responsibility to carefully measure your space and access routes to ensure the items will fit.

Our couriers or drivers may refuse to take specific pieces upstairs if they believe this may damage the product or your property.
